    Hi there

I see in the Ajax setting, I can choose pagination or infinite scroll. I would like to use pagination, but it does not appear to be working. Is see there are some other support threads with the same issue but the replies are marked as private. Please let me know if this is currently broken on your side or am I missing something on my side?

    Regards
    Roxane Lapa

    Hi Trevor
I spoke to the pods guys, and they say the following:

Our pagination is _only_ for Pods loops
And we’re not driving the Search & Filter loop
All we’re driving is passing the loop results into our Pods Template in your code. Once that post is finished, control returns to the Loop

This is a PODS loop or template you are using?

It is. Whilst we support the standard features of PODS (that comply with the WordPress Codex), such as fields, taxonomies, custom post types, etc), we do not support their templates. This is because they do things differently to how WordPress suggests/recommends things be done in a template (they are not alone in this, it just makes things more complex, especially when trying to use third party plugins not specifically designed for use with PODS).

Hi Trevor. I spoke to the PODS guys, and they say the following:
“Hey Roxane, interesting, I have to say. I just found from another person that they don’t support date filters from us either, when we _do_ store things as WordPress suggests. We’ve been around 10+ years. The output of the ‘loop’ that we’re doing with a template is no different in handling than passing a shortcode at the loop specific point, so pagination is _completely_ handled by them in that portion of the loop”

I’d really love to get this resolved. Is there something that I could specifically ask the PODS guys that would help you support the issue?
