Page titles/empty pages/filters

1) PAGE TITLES: I am trying to add the code to customize the page titles to show “Search ResultS” in the title, but no luck. When I add the code, nothing happens. I added plain text and that shows, but not when I replace it with the code.

2) When I have no results I get an empty page. I need to be able to state – “no results found” to the page.

3) I am using taxonomies and child/parent relationships. I have a lot of “child” pages under a parent that is irrelevant to all other taxonomies in the search. Is there any way to only show the child filters once the parent is selected? This will also help keep the search form shorter.

Are you using the Enable Auto Count option on the General Settings Tab?

1 and 2 are functions of the theme you are using I think. 1 can sometimes be modified with a setting in Yoast SEO if you have that installed.
