Order posts by date

Hi,

I’m ordering posts primary by date field from ACF value. This works fine as long as you acctually insert something in date field. Since I’m using also secondary order by last modified date I would suspect that if I don’t select date in date field those post will show but on secondary order basis. But if I don’t select date post without date is not shown in results list. Why if there is secondary order enabled?

I would have that that if the ACF field is the primary order then those results would be at the end of the sort order, unless you have a range selector on the field?
