Hello folks.
How is this going? I’ve been waiting for two months to get a solution for this problem but i don’t hear about you by now.
I know you probably have a full backlog list, but i’ve a website in production with a huge bug and a client not so happy.
Could you please tell me something?
Thank you.
Ross Moderator(Private) October 27, 2017 at 12:40 pm #138918Hi Elena
My apologies, our backlog is pretty much cleared and I seem to have missed this.
I’ll catchup today and get back to you with any questions.
Thanks

Just to update I’m still on this.
The problem is recreating your issue, but it looks like we might have a hit a wall.
S&F works by utilising WordPress’ WP_Query class (which is unavoidable). In order to “order” your results, we use this class, and simply tell it to order your results by whichever parameters you chose.
Now, S&F has no power over this ordering system, other than to specify what will get ordered and how (WordPress itself does the heavy lifting here).
So your issue seems to be a system / environment issue, or it could be the combination with ACF.
I have had one idea which I will try next, which is that it could be the way ACF saves your data.
Lets say, if you create a category it stores your data as
Antibióticos
, but ACF, will encode the data, and then store it, likeAntibióticos
This could be what is causing your strange ordering – I will get back to you on this later on today.
Thanks
