    Hi

    Is it possible for you to make screenshots of any tabs in the search form setup that you have made settings in (some tabs you may have made no changes, these I do not need to see)? I need at least the General and Display results tabs.

    Also, I need screenshots of the setup for the form fields.

    Which search is it that you have the issue with and what front end page can I see this used on?

    I need to discuss this with Ross, the developer. The template file has a lot of modifications, including a script. I notice that in Firefox the checkboxes do not become ticked?

    FF on what OS?

    We stopt with the scripting after we found out the filters were not woking.

    I can turn off all the scripting. I did that before and they where still not working. I even turned of all the theme css without any changes.

    It was FF46.0.1 on Windows 10. anyway, let me sort this with Ross and get back to you.

    Hi Mark

    Ok so I managed to get this working.

    I’m not sure why, but depending on the search, your theme was overriding the query. Or maybe it always was, it just wasn’t presenting itself obviously.

    Anyway, I did 2 things.

    Because you wanted to use the post type archive for displaying results, I changed the display method of your search form to “post type archive”.

    Then, because something was interferring with the query, we “reset” it, or “overwrite it” again with the S&F query – so the correct results show.

    This was done by adding 1 line to your template – archive-yy_vacature_btb.php

    Before the first occurence of have_posts – I added:

    <?php do_action('search_filter_do_query', 193); ?>

    This means S&F overwrites the main query, and it seems to have done what is required to get your results working.

    Thanks
