Hi
So, in your admin, there are a lot of warning showing in the error reporting tool you have. This is a bit worrying.
The message you showed is what you see when first you install the plugin before any forms are made. So, the form you had is in trash (you can still retrieve it) and we made a new form. We tested it on posts and it worked. The we switched it to products and we left the cache building. might be done by now. The check and see how it goes and get back to me.
Anonymous(Private) August 11, 2016 at 8:27 pm #54356I’m still a little confused by what you mean. You said the message I sent you “is what you see when first you install the plugin before any forms are made.” However I was getting that message from the form I made.
Regardless I did restore my original form and its now building the cache. Did you make any other changes to get this to occur?
Trevor(Private) August 11, 2016 at 8:36 pm #54357No, but temporarily removing the form puts the plugin in zero forms mode, and it resets itself and the cache tables when you do that. The message I meant was this one: ‘Ready, waiting for some posts to cache… There is no data to cache yet` It is what you see when first installing the plugin and making the first form, which is what gave Ross the idea to re-start the plugin.
Anonymous(Private) August 13, 2016 at 1:17 am #54467I left the cache alone for 24hours and although the message did change from the “no data ….” to “Changes have been made which require the cache to be rebuilt. Please wait a moment…”, nothing has changed. I even looked in the database and the cache table is not getting populated. I tried changing the settings this evening from cache speed slow to fast which didn’t change anything and even tried to tell it to rebuilt manually but again nothing is occurring.
Anonymous(Private) August 13, 2016 at 12:45 pm #54494I agree we have a lot of posts but I don’t think that’s the issue preventing the cache from building because the search and filter worked at one time and the number of posts hasn’t changed. This is a test environment so the posts haven’t been refreshed since we started testing this. What do you recommend?
