ok – updated website – works on my desktop in chrome but not on mobile? And last time i checked not on tablet or internet explorer on desktop –

So why does it work on chrome on desktop and not others – that makes me think it is not hosting…

If you are using a true mobile, and not an emulator, it could be some JavaScript, which could also explain why it works on just some browsers. I have seen plugins like Slider Revolution do this before. Once a browser/device flags a serious JavaScript error, it halts all JavaScript processing including our plugin.

A good way to test this is to disable Ajax in our plugin. If it then works, that is the issue. Then you start deactivating other plugins to find which one.

yes – true mobile – and not an emulator…

So If I remove ajax in plugin settings and test to see if it works on mobile then that will tell me there is a javaScript issue…

and if it doesn’t work on mobile with ajax turned off then… What?

Still try the deactivating other plugins route.

Hi Nathan. Your last two posts confused me. One seems to say it now works with Ajax on mobile, the other suggests that it only works on mobile without Ajax.

What I was asking when we spoke was if it worked without Ajax and didn’t with, that suggests that another plugin is causing JavaScript to fail. If this happens ONLY on mobile, and not on desktop (ie Ajax works on Desktop), that makes me even more strongly suspect another plugin.

Where another plugin is suspected, Switch on Ajax and then deactivate as many plugins as you can. Hopefully it works at this point. Then reactivate those plugins one at a time to test.

BTW, are you using Comboxes, and if you are, can you make sure that, in our settings, you are using the Select2 combobox script, not Chosen?

I currently have ajax turned on – can you verify it works now?
I did remove the cache plugin which combined js and html and css and it seems to work now – can you verify…

    thanks!

Ajax works but if you view and scroll and see God in several titles – at least in 1…
But when you search for God nothing…

But search for love – and it returns searches – weird…

    Something very odd.

Try the word smile. 1 result. Now try smil. No results. understand gives two results, but understan gives none.

Are you using a plugin like Relevanssi?
