    Coud i add widget other way then on the sidebar? I don t want to have the filter display on the sidebar

    That is dependent on the theme you choose and how flexible it is. Free themes are less likely to offer this, so if you need to use a free theme, then you might need to edit and hand code in the PHP template files, which I guess you wish to avoid. This is why I suggested a voice discussion.
