I am wondering whether making a duplicate of the site and putting it on my server will help me see what is going on? You could use this plugin to make a ‘duplicate’:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/
Just make sure you use the archives option to exclude any cache folder and any backups folders.
Otherwise I will speak with you next week. It is a national holiday weekend here in the UK, so Tuesday is the first ‘work’ day next week.
Trevor(Private) August 30, 2016 at 10:00 am #56013I have to take the blame here for this misunderstanding, I wanted you to use this plugin (duplicator) as it is the one I use:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/
The file you made doesn’t appear to be from that.
Anonymous(Private) August 30, 2016 at 5:35 pm #56115Is that not what I sent you?
Duplicator spits out:
xxxxx_archive.zip
xxxxx_database.sql
xxxxx_installer/php
xxxxx_scan.json
xxxxx.logI just zipped those up and sent them via dropbox. I just checked by downloading the file, unzipping it and then installing it on my localhost (MAMP) and it all seemed to work and the archive page (where i istalled Search & Filter) had the same issue.
New development: When I first loaded the Localhost version it was having the same issue with only showing about 32 (of 670 entries). I switched the setting in Filter & Archive to Caching Speed to fast and it appears more are showing up gradually.
Is this all due to a cache issue? I haven’t installed a Caching plugin (W3 Total Cache, usually) yet as I am still in development mode. If that would interfere.

So, I set everything up on my server, only to find that Duplicator doesn’t support MySQLi yet (which is what my Server and MariaDB use). I hadn’t seen this before because the server HAD been running older software that used MySQL and that was how I got all the sites on to it, but it has since been upgraded.
Do you have an alternative backup system that we could use to transfer/copy the site?
