Hi,
I have a search which uses 2 taxonomy pulldowns and acts on one post type.
This works fine if I make a selection, however if I leave it on “all” for both, the results are not restricted to the chosen post type and show all sorts of pages and posts.
I am not using ajax, the results are shown on a different page using a template.
Is there anything I can do to make it work?

It sounds like there might be some other script which affects the query and is adding all the post types? I’ve not experienced this before – as long as your setting your post types in the settings panel then this should not be happening.
Have you added any code or use any plugins that may modify the main query? I think this is likely the cause.
