No results when searching for all post types

Hi,

I just bought and installed the pro version, but have a problem with the search form. My form includes a search input field, a filter (for post types) and a sorting drop-down.

Now here’s the problem: when I search for “pasta” I get 0 results, even though “All Post Types” is selected. When I select the Post Type “Recipes” I get 4 results.

How can I get all 4 results when “All Post Types” is selected? That should be the default behavior in my opinion.

Hey Manuel

“All Post” types will only search the post types that are selected for the Search Form.

This is the Post Types in the General Tab, at the top of the edit screen, not the one in the field.

Do you have both post types selected in the general tab?

What happens when you do not search for anything at all (ie reset the form), do you see all the posts across both post types displayed or are some missing?

Hi Ross,

thanks for the quick answer!

In the General tab I checked 6 post types. In the Post Types UI element I enabled the same 6 post types.

When I search without any filter or search term, I also get 0 results.

I tried to remove/add UI elements, but it behaves like described above. Without the filter all posts should appear as results, right?
