Hi.
I’m not sure if I’m using this right or not.
I have a site (WP 4.6.1) with a WooCommerce (2.6.8) shop. Each product has some custom fields using “Advanced Custom Fields” Plugin (4.4.11) (I’ve inserted some sample text on these fields on one product only for testing purposes).
I’ve installed Relevanssi (3.5.6.1) and put “all” in the Custom Fields to Index area and it is set to only index Product post types. This has sucessfully built the index of products.
In Search and Filter pro (2.2.0) I’ve created a new search, only on products, with only a search box and submit button. Display results are set to woocommerce shop and ajax is disabled. I’ve enabled Relevanssi in Advanced.
When I search for the sample text that is in a custom field I get a list of all the categories, but no individual product results. In a normal wordpress search it finds the products. I have to be doing something wrong, but for the life of me I can’t see what it is…
Trevor(Private) November 22, 2016 at 6:23 pm #71732The first thing I notice is that, as you say, the search is on the site homepage, but that is not the WooCommerce ‘shop’ page. Using the WooCommerce Display Method, it assumes you have the search on the shop page.
The other things I notice is that the theme is Avada. Did you read and follow the advice on our FAQ page for Avada:
https://www.designsandcode.com/wordpress-plugins/search-filter-pro/faqs/
I also notice that you are in the UK, so maybe a Skype voice conversation would work for you?

Great help, thanks. It’s now displaying the results correctly after I did the Avada code and changed the result to “As an Archive”. It looks terrible, but at least I’m getting results.
This site previously used toolset types for the custom fields and searching, but since the recent issues with Types we’ve had to stop using it.
We had 5 custom fields:
Shaft/bore sizes
Max ppr
Sealings
category
sub-categoryand 5 search boxes so users could search using one or more requirements.
The max PPR field contained a numeral that could find values up to and including the value in the field
The other 4 are all text with exact matches requiredso, my questions.
1. is it possible to replicate the 5 search boxes in S&F pro?
2. What do I need to do to output the search results to look like a woocommerce shop? Thanks for the help.
