    If I enable autocount the counts go to 0. But there are actually posts in some categories (e.g. http://dev.mantellassi.com/category/art/).

    Hi Evelina

    If the count goes to 0 this means there is a problem with the cache building.

    Can you try to deactivate/active S&F, then rebuild the cache?

    Nothing changes 🙁
    I also tried to work on simple articles instead of custom types. I created a test category http://dev.mantellassi.com/category/test/ and a test article in that category. But I’m getting the same result.

    Hmmm it looks like something is interfering with the query.

    Do you have any pre_get_posts or custom code that modifies queries?

    If not, it might be another plugin interfering with the search query, try disabling all other plugins and see if the problem still persists?

    I have disabled all the plugins except the filter and I also changed theme to a basic one. Nothing changed, same result.
