    Hi,
Im building a search funtion for our website, where I need to display some categories as checkboxes and then display the results. But when I change the seek function from AND to OR I get No results found every time.
I am using the shortcode version, for the website usis Divi builder. I can get the search working and displaying but it just stops when I change the search from AND to OR, and sometimes when I exclude some categories. I still can see that the dispalyed categories have posts, but I just cant see them…

OK. I will need to escalate this to the developer, who is away for a long weekend 🙁

He will most likely ask me for admin logins and ftp logins, which you can supply with a private reply.

Thank you Tomi, he was waiting for these details.

I am a little puzzled though. What page in the front end (what URL) is the search form on? Which form (there are 2)? And both the forms I see only only select field, Category, so I am not sure what OR is supposed to do?

The plugin also seems to be an old version (2.2.0). Some users are finding it hard to update in the plugins page, so the manual update method is this:

Download the 2.2.0 file from your account area, and then …

    1) Deactivate S&F in WP Admin Plugins page (do not delete, otherwise you will lose your search form)
    2) Via FTP, delete search-filter-pro folder from the wp-content\plugins folder on your server. If you wish to keep the folder, just in case, do NOT rename it, instead move it UP a folder into the wp-content folder.
    3) Unzip the file you have downloaded.
    4) Upload the search-filter-pro folder to the wp-content\plugins folder on your server.
    5) Activate Search and Filter plugin in WP Admin plugins page

OK, On that search page I see OR working as it should?

For example, only 3 categories have a count, all at 2. This is because there are only two posts meeting the search criteria and they both have the same 3 categories attached.

If I check an empty one and one with 2 in, the two posts show, as they should.
