Hey Alexandru
You can’t purchase the plugin just for “testing” purposes – when you buy it your committed to it – after all you now have the full source code for the plugin.
We normally only offer refunds for users when the plugin is faulty or there are issues which cannot be overcome.
You’ve purchased the plugin, knowing from all the documentation online that it is for searching posts – not users – so I cannot offer a refund to you simply because I cannot develop a feature for you fast enough.
Thanks
Ross Moderator(Private) March 8, 2015 at 8:42 pm #13079Attaching our refund policy which was on the checkout page when you purchased the product:
REFUNDS
If you have problems getting plugins to work, we will be happy to provide a full refund within 30 days of the original purchase. After 30 days, no refunds will be given. Before a refund will be granted, you must allow us to try and help solve any problem you have by opening a support ticket. NOTE: refunds will not be granted if you simply decide not to use the purchased products. We stand behind our products and will assist you in solving any problem you have, but we also expect you to adequately understand what you are purchasing and why. Thanks
Anonymous(Private) March 11, 2015 at 12:18 pm #13217Hi Ross,
We actually did the testing way before buying, with the free version (generally, free versions are like samples of the paid product) so we knew what we were buying (only mislead by the fact that it worked in the free version) and we bought it with the sure intention to use it.
Your product is very good, except that for this project we need the users part, and I was anyway going to keep your product in mind for any future projects I would need this for and get back and buy if the occasion arises.
And I wasn’t requesting a refund just because you couldn’t develop the feature fast, lets say like kind of a punishment or something (I can’t find a better word) as it seems you interpreted it. I was just inquiring about the possibility because since we will have to look into other solutions and then not use this plugin anymore as we first planned it, for our budget purposes I was trying to see if I can get a refund for a plugin we will not use for this project.
But if that’s your policy, we’ll just leave it as that.
Thank you,

Apologies if my message came across short – I believe you mentioned the free plugin didn’t really work either in terms of what you were trying to achieve – therefore my logic in this was that you should not expect your specific requirements to work in pro.
Thanks
