Hi Ross,
I’ve upgraded to SF2.0 and it seems to have broken a couple of things on my staging site at http://gordonsbay.hashfff.com/accommodation/
I’m also using selectric to style the inputs. After I make a change to the form and it refreshes via AJAX, the selectric styling is missing. This isn’t the biggest issue but may be in connection with the fact that the form clears after I change a value. No matter what I do, it no longer displays any search results. The URL contains the search parameters.
I hope you are somehow able to give me an indication of what this could be. It’s much appreciated.
Thank you Ross. 🙂
Ross Moderator(Private) September 28, 2015 at 1:54 pm #26053Hi Jason
Have you tried the suggestions in the upgrade notes?

Thanks
Ross Moderator(Private) September 28, 2015 at 2:23 pm #26056Hmmm well, try to disable ajax, does it then work as expected?
Thanks
Anonymous(Private) September 28, 2015 at 6:58 pm #26099Same problem here, first page OK and when I navigate to the next it breaks.
I have another section of my website which is currently working. Maybe it has something to do with the huge amount of posts that this section has.
If I disable ajax it does work, but something strange happens when I try to go back to the first page, as it gets stuck, reload and shows the same page.
Anonymous(Private) September 29, 2015 at 9:21 am #26139It appears now that the 2.0 release has reset all my post_meta which is why it wasn’t finding any results, which I have fixed.
The AJAX refresh is causing selectric not to refresh which is expected.
I want to bind the the body to a js event when the page returns no results. Can you tell me what that event is?
Ross Moderator(Private) September 29, 2015 at 9:34 am #26140Hey Jason
What do you mean reset post meta, you mean the fields in S&F rather than across your whole site right? Otherwise that is more than alarming!
RE the JS events – check here –
http://www.designsandcode.com/documentation/search-filter-pro/2-0-upgrade-notes/#JavaScript_Events
There is a slightly updated way to detect when results are being fetched and when they have loaded. What is different in 2.0 is that the search form itself is also refreshed to update various attributes and count numbers etc.
Let me know how you get on.
Thanks
