I create several taxonomy (using CPT UI) and I am using them to create menus with S&F. That’s work well BUT :
– The “Multiselect” menus (with or without combobox) don’t work well with an iphone.
If you check my website, you can notice (It’s the case for the first menu, “locations”.

Sadly, I do not own any Apple devices, but iOS does cause issues with form elements as it is somewhat buggy. The best solution (according to other users) is to set the control to combobox, make sure in the plugin settings you are using the Select2 script (not Chosen) and then a hack is needed of our code. This is far from ideal as it means every update it has to be re-applied and it creates non-standard HTML.
I cannot endorse nor do I approve of doing this. We are trying to find an alternative solution, but have not found one as of yet.
I believe that the user(s) who came up with the idea got it from a third party users forum. You can read about it in this thread. At least, what you describe seems to be what that thread is related to.

The thread mentioned above was actually resolved in an update.
Can you confirm you also see the issue on our movies demo site?

The drop down for “certificates” is select2 / combobox – and it seems to work fine on iOS on my testing.
I notice you are using “chosen” for comboboxes still, they simply don’t support mobile, so comboxes revert back to the default multiselect on the mobile browser.
In S&F settings, make sure “combobox script” is set to “select2” and test again.
Thanks
