Forums › Forums › Search & Filter Pro › Multiple taxonomy filters acting on the same taxonomy not working
Hi, I purchased Search Filter Pro, first of all thanks for this great plugin.
I have a problem with Search Filter Pro, specifically when setting a page with multiple taxonomy filters acting on the same taxonomy, but to different parents (by excluding all IDs but one in each filter), as in this page:
http://altair4.arpsoft.webfactional.com/it/archivio-multimediale/?_sft_categorie_modelli=arco
As you can see, when the last filter (in the left column) is applied, the other filters above don’t work. You first need to reset the filter, and then all filters above will work again.
Basically if I apply a filter and then use a filter that is below it, it works normally; but when I use a filter that is above it, it doesn’t work.
Could you please help me?
Thanks,
Gabriele
You must not use a taxonomy, category, tags or meta keys more than once in an S&F form. Instead you would need additional custom taxonomies. Here is a really awful preachy lecture I wrote ? :

Sorry about the tone, but the message is right and it links to good plugins. If I missed anything (I probably did, my apologies), follow up and nudge me.
You can switch terms from one taxonomy to another by using the Taxonomy Switcher plugin.
