    Hi,

In my design I need to show 4 different results for the same post type (the blog). 3 of the results have the same styling (so I can create new results templates as per your docs which is fine) but different number of posts displayed. For example on the homepage only 2 post show (no pagination), on the actual post page, 4 posts show (no pagination) and on the main blog page, 12 show with pagination.

However, also on the homepage is a featured post which just shows one post and the styling is different.

My understanding is that I will have to create a different search form for each of these, is that correct?

    Thanks

That is correct. However, you can only have one form per post type if you are using the Post Type archives Display Results method. As an Archive method does not have this restriction. Some of the other methods do not have this restriction either.

Okay thank you. I am using the shortcode method so it appears to be working so far.

I have another question though. I followed your instructions on another post about creating featured posts (https://support.searchandfilter.com/forums/topic/featured-posts/). I have got one of the search forms displaying the featured posts, is there a way to hide featured posts from another search form?

It seems the Post Meta options in Settings & Defaults might do what I am after but I can’t seem to get it to work.

    Thanks

I think I have managed to figure it out (I should’ve been more patient). I wasn’t using the Post Meta options properly. I have now set it as follows:

featured (my ACF meta) – char – equals – 0

So this form now returns all results that aren’t featured
