    Hi, I was wondering if it’s possible to make all checkboxes active by default. That way the user will see all the posts (in a grid) at first and can remove checks where needed.

    It is not, sorry. The user case for why we do not (currently) allow this is that, should a post have no terms set, by checking all the terms, those posts missing any terms would be excluded from the results. It is not very common for a site search to do as you request (no major site does this). However, we plan to make the setting of fields more flexible in V3 (due in a few months), and I think you might be able to do this then.
