is it possible to make a (taxonomy) default?
-Country – (this includes all posts)
-City1 (only posts from this city)
-City2 (only posts from this city)
-City3 (only posts from this city)
etc..I would like the taxonomy (Country) to be set by default without having to select it.
So when I use the filter it automatically looks in that specific taxonomy.
I hope I have explained my problem well.
Trevor(Private) November 13, 2020 at 11:32 am #266325If you are on the taxonomy term archive page then it is possible yes. Country must be a field in the form, and then these two settings must be ON:
1. Set autodetect category/taxonomy:

2. And also set ‘Enable filtering on Taxonomy Archives’:
Trevor(Private) November 13, 2020 at 12:37 pm #266345This will change with V3 (due in a month or two), but, for now, when referring to the results page, having a cloned/duplicated form (having more than one instance of the same form), or multiple different forms, will potentially be an issue, as doing this can mean that they don’t work together and often will conflict with each other. Just be aware that this is possible (likely), so if you have problems with the results not working, that might be why. Normally, we suggest only one form instance on the results page.
You CAN have more than one form on any page other than the results page.
