    Hey, Trevor.

    I need to find a solution to my filter’ problem. What I am trying to do is;
    I have 2 taxonomy filters(location, capability) attached to a custom post (team), Some post items (team members) won’t have to be tagged any taxonomy and some do. In order to get all posts, I need to NOT exclude any tax term (so it shows only those on the drop-down) but that results in dropdown showing all the taxonomy terms. What I need is limit ONLY the dropdown items so on load all members show. if I dont tag and limit them via “Tags, Categories & Taxonomies” section, they don’t show at all. I hope I make sense 🙂

    Ah. OK. See these two settings:

    Set them, and it will apply a separate class the the children that you can use CSS to set them to display: none. That assumes that whenever a child term is used, the parent has also been used.

    Yeap that’s what I was thinking. So there isn’t a hook or a setting to do this. Thanks for your time. This solution should work for now.
