    Hi,

    I still have the old Search and Filter Pro 2.3.4. I purchased a new license and it says active here in Search and Filter Pro’s My Account dashboard. In my website’s wp admin, however, the license is not active. When I click “activate,” the page reloads but the license does not say activated (the green text does not show like before). It has been more than an hour since I purchased the renewal and I believe this is enough time for your servers to update (I have read here to wait for 15-30 minutes).

    Any suggestions on what to do? I tried to deactivate and activate the plugin and deleting the cache but to no avail. I guess another option would be to delete the plugin and install the new version but I worry that my current search filters will be deleted? I made some modification to my theme’s function.php so starting from scratch would be troublesome.

    You may need to remove the license in the site and the site from your account, and then wait, then activate it again, and wait.

    In the plugin settings page, there is an option (normally unchecked) which should be unchecked to stop any data or forms being deleted when you remove the plugin, which makes it safe to do what you suggest.
