Thank you for the tip. It made me understand what’s going on. I just want to narrow the options available for click, not the result options. Is that possible with this plugin or ACF is my only choice?

ACF is a free plugin that our plugin works with (but make sure that when you select the meta key that its name does NOT start with an underscore). It’s fields can be added to the S&F form using the Post Meta form field object, and in that you can manually limit the choices.

    Hello again,
Mr.Trevor it seems like I did not need the acf plugin. I didn’t know that there was a logical AND between the tag field and the category field, so by fixing all the tags I was fine. I’ve made the design that I want nearly 100%. My last issue, which is not a huge deal, is this:
This is my search page: http://hearthstonepuzzles.net/fan-creations-test-page/
This is a random results page: http://hearthstonepuzzles.net/?sfid=2426&_sft_category=spells
I want to display the search and filter form that I’ve created, instead of the default search bar from Avada.
Unfortunately I cannot edit the search page manually, without php. My thoughts here are that I could use a Shortcode for the results page, but then my grid layout will be ruined, which is important for me. So my guess is that a solution would be this:the search bar for this specific page would call the form that I’ve created, instead of the default form.I do not know how to do this on php and I know this may not be easy. Any help would be appreciated, thank you very much!

It will not be easy, no. I assume that you have the form using the As an Archive display results method? And the default template is search.php? Might you not change that to whatever template that the origin page is using?

Yes it is using the “As an Archive” display, and the default template is search.php for the results page. You mean change it with a shortcode? I tested creating a custom page for reasults but I lose the grid layout that the blog archive provides me.

No, not using a shortcode. leave it on As an Archive, but change the template name from search.php to a different one from your theme.

Could you specify which one or how to choose it please?

Ah, you must look at the available list and maybe guess from the name. Experiment. Where to find the list? In Appearance -> Editor on the right is the list of template files, and if you are using a child theme, there is also a dropdown to show instead the main theme templates.
