Issue applying Meta Key to form

Hi

I’m having problems applying Post Meta as an option to a search form in the backend.

I am working with a database with >1000 entries, each with a specific custom field I need to target with search. When setting up the search form, I can set up all other options using Available Fields without a problem (i.e search box, Sort Order).

But when selecting Post Meta > Choice > Meta Key in the Search Form UI, the form resets the Meta Key every time I hit the update button, to the top field on the dropdown list.

The same issue happens when creating a new form with just a search box – under Settings & Defaults > Post Meta, I add a condition but the first dropdown (meta key) resets to the first on the list when I update the form.

It looks like a bug with larger databases, as I can select a field with a smaller number of entries and it saves without a problem.

As the filtering of custom fields via a search form was the main reason I bought the plugin, it would be great to find out if there’s a fix.
