    I used Relevanssi a few years ago on a few different sites and it had major load issues. I stopped using it.

    Now I am using Search and Filter Pro. I installed Relevanssi with trepidation a few weeks ago and unfortunately on this new site I am seeing again Relevanssi-related issues. Loads are super high, pages loading slowly, and the server is crashing (it has 32GB RAM!!). The table itself is taking up 2.6GB of space:

    Is there any way to still use the Search and Filter Pro and have the ability to search inside custom taxonomies without using Relevanssi?

    It is the only text search plugin we have tested and support, but you might find others work. I recall some users saying this one works:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-extended-search/

    But I cannot guarantee that.

    There are no posts about this, but yes, you should disable both those settings.
