Forums › Forums › Search & Filter Pro › Is it possible …
Hi, i am working on a website of a customer. I need an search like on this site: http://www.weberhaus.de/hausfinder/
Is it possible with your plug-in to create such an form like the 5 dropdowns on this site? I read in your documentation that i should only use one category field per form.
My english is not so good, so i show it on an example, for my real estate search:
If i need 5 Fields, each filed should be a few options:
Field one: roof black, roof red, roof green
Field two: garage 1, garage 2, garage 3
Field three: 100qm, 200qm, 300qm
…
How can i realize this?
Hey Christian
You must use custom taxonomies to realise this – for example, you would have a taxonomy for “roof colour”, a taoxnomy for “garage” and a taxonomy for “qm”… then you can do what you want.
I would advise to use another plugin to create your custom taxonomy (they behave just like regular categories so they are really easy to use).
This is one of the best free plugins I use for this:
