Hi,
We’ve recently installed Search Filter Pro into a site utilising the Elegant Themes – Divi theme. The widget displays properly in the side bar of the Woocommerce shop but autosubmit doesn’t work. We add a ‘Submit’ button but it simply reloads the shop page without any resulting search results. It also fails to maintain the search form state.
I have checked all the form settings and everything appears set up to work so I am wondering if there are any known problems with integration of the plugin with the Divi theme. I can send the URL privately if requested.
Many Thanks
Jayson
Anonymous(Private) May 26, 2016 at 10:40 pm #46871Sorry I should have said that I had already tried renaming the container both within the theme and the plugin settings themselves but it didn’t resolve the issue. And still hasn’t sorry.
If you check the URL I sent through you’ll see it still isn’t working even with manual submit. Could it be a script timing issue perhaps?
Many Thanks
Jayson
Trevor(Private) May 28, 2016 at 12:41 pm #46924It is happening because Divi is loading an old version of jQuery.js, I can see this in your HTML:
<script type='text/javascript' src='http://182.160.157.194/~jaysondev/Davis/wp-content/themes/Divi/js/jquery.js'></script>
And this is causing our plugin to not work. Is this the latest version of Divi?
