I would like to change the text input from type=text to type=search. (some browsers will apply a ‘looking glass’ icon to the field if the type is ‘search’ or even a little ‘x’ to clear the field) I didn’t see an option to do this so I assume I must edit a php file. Can you point me to the location(s) to make this change?

search-filter-pro\public\includes\class-search-filter-display-shortcode.php

in the function get_search_field
