Infinite scroll issues

Hi,

I have a few queries about the infinite scroll:

1. Can you please advise how I can test the loading icon for the infinite scroll? Whether I have ‘Show loading icon’ ticked or not in the settings, I still don’t see any loading icon in the front-end, though the infinite scroll is working.

2. My infinite scroll only seems to work on the results page I’ve specified. I also have the shortcode on my homepage – how do I get the infinite scroll working here as well without having to create a separate form?

3. I’d like to retain the pagination rather than hiding it – how can I use custom pagination e.g. wpbeginner_numeric_posts_nav() given that the pagination is automatically generated by the plugin?

I think it best to take one issue at a time. Is it possible for me to see the live search page so that I can try to find out why the loading icon does not appear?

Hi Trevor,

I’ve been wrestling with this over the past couple of hours and managed to resolve Points 1 and 2. For Point 1, the loading icon showed as intended when I kept the optional ‘Post / Result Selector’ and ‘Infinite Scroll Container’ fields blank, though I do now get a duplicate of the pagination with each set of articles loaded in.

For Point 3 I’ve decided to hide the pagination as it didn’t seen necessary – will see if the client requires it.
