To do that would likely break the plugin, as it relies on the existing structure. However, we do allow you to use Select2. see this post:

Anonymous(Private) June 17, 2020 at 3:35 pm #249139Hi Trevor,
Thanks, this is exactly what I needed. Only issue that after applying Select2 in Settings, now there’s a delay on the frontend. Meaning, the filter dropdowns appear with a different styling for 1 second and then they change to my new styling.
What could it be?
Thanks,
FlorinAnonymous(Private) June 17, 2020 at 4:38 pm #249162It was on by default and the issue was happening, even with emptying cache for a few times.
The select2 styling is being applied some time after the page is loaded. This causes a switch in the appearance of the fields.
This is how initially is shown:
And after 1 second:

Trevor(Private) June 17, 2020 at 5:08 pm #249189Is the combine feature also combining JavaScript? I realized that the CSS only gets applied when the Search & Filter JavaScript loads, and by default that is loading in the footer (last).
Please note that we are now closed for the day as it is gone 5PM here in the UK. For any further replies, I will be back on again tomorrow.
