How to set the single product page

Hi there,

The AJAX part of the plugin seems to be working for me as intended.
The only problem is that when I click on a product in the search results, instead of taking me to the woocommerce single product page, it takes me to yet another page of search results….
Is this normal?

How do I set it up so that like in the demo, clicking on the product takes the user to the woocommerce single product page for that product.

BTW: Before using your plugin I had the following code inside the loop in the woocommerce.php file
<?php woocommerce_content(); ?>

If I put that back in, I get the single product template for Woocommerce but the results page still displays at the bottom….

Perhaps I can figure it out myself if I can see the demo template files…

Basically I want to setup pages just like the demos so that a user can filter the products and then clicking on the product link takes them to the product with information, photo, related products, attributes etc just like in the normal woocommerce. If it is possible to put the search form on the product page so that the user can then quickly return to the product menu without having to change URLS, just like in the movies demo that would be even better.

I think if I can see the templates I can probably figure everything out.

I just found the tutorial a bit too simple and doesn’t really explains things for me.

I have been in contact with Ross about this today, and he promised to take care of a minor fix of the plugin and then this kind of usage should be possible till beginning of next week.

In anyway if you figure out something that works before monday, I am very interested in any kind of solution.

Hi Marjan, Ross, that does indeed sound uncannily llike the problem I am referring to but I just want to double check.Do you mean to say that when each individual product link is clicked on it should take the user to the woocommerce product page? But right now it just refreshes the results page? Also the user should be able to activate the filter while remaining on that page, just like in the movies demo. If so, then yep that is certainly not working for me either at the moment and I await the update.Regardless, I would still very much like to see the template filed for the demos, in particular the movies one because I like their setup.Thank you

Hi Ross,

I read that you missed your flight and that has messed up your entire schedule but it is getting past a week now since you promised a solution / update to the above problem. Also, I never got a reply to my request to see the template files. I really need to get this plugin doing what I want soon. My end goal is to reproduce something like your movies demo, not so much in the design but in the functionality.

My flight was cancelled (so was sitting on an airport floor for hours!)….

Apologies for the delay, this is almost ready (it very early hours here)… I should be able to get this ready but I can’t push an official update live until I’ve done some testing.

Would you be willing to test the latest version? I’m hoping it will work and this means you should be good to go 🙂
