Forums › Forums › Search & Filter Pro › How to I set the initial filter results?
We have a custom post type with It’s own taxonomy. We are using the Search and Search results as shortcodes on a page.
We would like when the page loads for an initial filter based upon the taxonomy to be applied. If the visitor changes the filter options, then the search results will be set to the new search.
How can we set the default taxonomy in the search results?
This is a feature that we plan to offer, but is likely to be many months away yet. It might be possible to use Javascript to set the value on page load, but I am not sure how well that would work, as the results would likely load twice as the filter change is applied.
