    Hello,
I recently purchased the Search & Filter Pro plugin so I’m new to this forum. I’ve had a chance to install the plugin and click through it a bit. However, I am still confused how to add the search and filter features to a webpage. It may be helpful if I briefly explain what I need:

I would like to display portfolio items (videos) as the results of a search and filter feature. The parent-categories I am displaying in each portfolio item (video) are Difficulty, Training Type, Equipment and Body Focus. I need each of these parent-categories to display checkboxes under their child-categories
    For example,
    Difficulty: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced.
    Training Type: Core, Flexibility, Strength.
    Equipment: Dumbbell, BOSU, Bar
    Body Focus: Chest, Back, Legs

    How do I accomplish this?

I look forward to receiving your response.

Thank you for your response, Trevor. I read both forums you suggested and looked in to the CPT UI plugin but the extended version. Before I purchase the CTP UI extended version plugin, let me share with you a website that provides an example of what I need.

    Please visit https://www.fitnessblender.com/videos
I would like to build a Search and Filter feature very similar to this one. Can this accomplished through the plugin you are recommending?

    Also,
You recommended turning off the blog functionality to WordPress if there isn’t a blog on the website. I have a blog, does your suggestion still apply? If not, how do you recommended tagging the posts/pages so it doesn’t conflict with the blog?

    Thanks

    No, it does not apply.

    Ok, thank you.
QUESTION 1:Can I accomplish adding multiple categories to the Search and Filter PRO feature with CTP UI extended version plugin?

QUESTION 2: As of now, each portfolio item has 4 categories (Training Type, Difficulty, Body Focus, Equipment) AND multiple tags to go along with category (Weight Training, Beginner, Chest, Back, Dumbbells). They are each separate elements and NOT parent-child. Is this correct set up for each portfolio item?

    Regards.

    QUESTION 3:
Visit http://www.fitnessblender.com/videos to see an example of what I need to accomplish. Is this possible with Search and Filter Pro and CTP UI extended version plugins?

    Regards,
    Theo
