I have put in a search shortcode into my page, alongside the results shortcode. And instead of updating to the new blog posts(with ajax enabled), it generates its own posts. By this I mean that they are the same blog posts I have already created but in a different format and layout. It has pushed my blog posts layouts further down and has its own style.
I am using the checkbox method and once I uncheck all check boxes, it starts to display every post on my website and not just the defined posts for that page, in its own generated format as explained above.
