Hi,
I was hoping to see a documentation or a walk through on how to duplicate the search form found here:
https://demo.searchandfilter.com/movies/
Is there any resource or walk through that could be provided to us so we can deploy a search form similar to that page?
Thanks!
Trevor(Private) January 7, 2021 at 9:03 am #271851I cannot provide back end access to the demo, but our developer has made some files available. If you have the same theme (we used Twenty Seventeen), this post talks about our demo page:
https://support.searchandfilter.com/forums/topic/numeric-pagination/#post-226394
And has a link to the template used.
However, you may find that may not be what you want. If you make what you think you might need as a form and place it on the page you want it on, are you then able to send me a live link/URL to that search page so I can take a look?
Let me know what you intend, and are struggling to do?

Basically, what we are trying to do is come up with a form that auto-updates based on the categories and subcategories picked from the filter. Our difficulty is our inability to display the categories and subcategories on separate search fields as you can see on this page: https://3dprinting.engageonline.com.au/search/
Is there a way for us to have separate search fields for:
Category
SubcategoryTrevor(Private) January 19, 2021 at 11:50 am #273170At the moment, you can use a term source only once in the form (this will change with V3, due in a few months), so would need separate taxonomies for Categories and Sub Categories.
For a possible workaround, this video may illustrate a solution (made for a different user):

That Hipster term seemed to have 12 posts, but in fact had none! Something wrong with my posts (too much of me playing on a development site).
I apologize for the sound and presentational quality. It was early in my morning, so I was not fully awake!
