Ah, you are using Salient. They allow you to download a plugin called Page Builder (from WPBakery) as part of their package (it used to be called Visual Composer). If you install that and go to edit a page, there will be a blue button that allows you to use it. See if it has a Post grid element (click the button to add an element), as shown in this thread:

Trevor(Private) April 3, 2018 at 11:17 am #169586It would appear that the theme author has significantly modified the Page Builder and removed the Post grid element. That being the case, the only method available to you would be to use the shortcode method:
