    OK, turns out the theme developer had created a function to limit search to pages, posts and his own custom post type. Doesn’t make sense but hey, at least the problem is solved.

    I have another question though. Have you have had cased where the search results page would randomly add p tags before and after the_content?

    It happens to me and breaks my layout
