I found documentation regarding showing the category title with Ajax, but where do we put it? Which file and where in that file?

Ah. OK, I understand. This code needs to be inside the PHP template file for the results page. In order that any changes made by an Ajax refresh are reflected, the code must be inside the Ajax container in that template file.

The template file depends on the Display results method that you are using.
