Help with Search andFilter

Hi I am using search & Filter free plugin and using this shortcode which is working great but I want to omit one category within my video gallery.

[searchandfilter fields=”search,aiovg_categories” types=”,checkbox” hierarchical=”,1″]

I want to miss out one category so I purchase seacrh & filetr pro but it seems there is now option to select the categories in aivog.

Can you tell how a shortcode may help me to omit one category id 56 please.

I do not believe that is possible with the free version, sorry.

This forum is for support of the pro version of Search & Filter, and you would need to build your form using the Pro version (where you c an do as you want). It is quite different from the free version, so that shortcode will not work.

I have purchased the pro version can you tell me how I can achieve it using the pro plugin?

I can’t see any category option for my videos as I do with the free version.

The video categories are likely to be a ‘Taxonomy’, so it is that that you add to the form in the Form UI.

You can set excludes in the Tags, categories & Taxonomies settings tabs in the form design.

Hi Trevor, that worked well and the search form is perfect, however I think I’m missing something major as when I tick the search options is doesn’t take me to that category, it just says to ready publish first post! What have I done wrong?

Hi

Ideally yes but I’m now considering adding all the resources into posts, so it would be good to keep the post format which is a similar grid like view.

I’m base in Napton, not far from Southam.
