    Some words with umlaute that exist in the results are:
    Kassenärztliche
    Sächsische
    Ärztekammer

    When I type them without umlaute the search works just fine. Also, the same problem exists with other special characters in other languages like Slovakia:

    Občianske
    SPOLOČNOSŤ
    Občianske

    mmm. Can you install the free Relevanssi plugin and set that up as you need, and the enable it in our advanced settings and see what happens?
