    Hi,

I re installed the plugin to the latest version but I cannot save any old and new forms
It can’t validate ” 8 required fields below are empty”

I cant’s seem to find what these required field might be.

    Pls advice. Thnx in advance.

    Hey Mark

S&F actually has no required fields – this message you refer to doesn’t even exist within S&F..

It sounds like it could be another plugin interfering with the save process?

S&F forms are actually custom post types – I find a lot of plugins hijack custom post types when they shouldn’t be doing this – I would guess its likely a plugin that has an effect on custom post types that’s causing the problems.

    Thanks

    Hi Ross,

It is another plugin. But it is ACF (http://www.advancedcustomfields.com). So not some shady little home brew thingy.
There was a conflict with ACF group config json and S&F. No idea what.

It works now. I will post more info if we get into the problem.

Hey Mark, just checking, does everything seem ok now with ACF and S&F?

I’ve done some tests and everything seems ok, but this was on a clean install.

    Thanks

    Hi,

There was an issue with a ACF Json and S&F. We did not get too deep into it but I suspect something with naming of fields.

We have update our ACF fields with a pre-fix and the problem went away.

Ah ok thanks for the response, by any chance do you have the names of the fields so that I can try to recreate the problem locally (before the prefix)?

Its REALLY important that S&F works well with ACF :/

    Oeh .. good question.

Ik will have one of my interns digg up the old configfiles.
But is was probably a fieldname we created ourselfs.

No worries thanks, if you find it will be most helpful – it might be a case of having to prefix some fields in S&F to ensure better compatibility (although this is done in most places).
