    Hi Support,
    since we updated to 2.2.0 our search form fields have mysteriously disappeared and we’ve had to rebuild them. It isn’t that all form options are being reset, just the fields are disappearing. Very strange. Are there any other instances of this?

    Not that I have seen. You mean from the setup? Is it a big form? On your server’s PHP, what value is max_input_vars set to (default is 1000 and it is rarely enough for WordPress – I have all my sites set to 5000)? If you don’t know, and only have shared hosting, there is a WP plugin called phpinfo-print that will show all the server settings for PHP.

    Hi Trevor,
    it’s a very basic form. Our max_input_vars is set to 5000 as default on our server. It seems strange that the form would work fine for a while and then suddenly the fields would disappear. Where is the form configuration saved in the database?

    I think it is saved as a post (you can search for the form ID, which is really the Post ID)

    OK, thanks Trevor. I’ll dig in and see what I can find out.
