    Hi there,

Love the plugin. Just noticed an issue in FireFox. I thought maybe it was just my site but I’ve also tested the demo and it has the same behavior. I’m using v2.0.1. I notice if I select from the Sort Order drop down, then hit F5 to refresh the page, the drop downs all become inactive. I can no longer click them to show the drop down.

So when I’m looking at this demo: http://demo.designsandcode.com/sfpro-movie-reviews/search
I select Sort Order -> Review Date.
I hit F5 to refresh the page.
The drop downs are now disabled.

Only a hard refresh will re-activate the drop downs. I noticed this only in the Sort Order on the demo but it happens to all of my filters on my site quite frequently.

Any insight on this or a direction of where I should be looking? I don’t see any JS errors in the console.

    Hi Erin

Please try the update I just sent you – I’ve also put this on our demo site and it seems as though this has fixed the issue.

    Thanks

    Hi Ross,

Thanks, for some reason it did not work for me and I’m still seeing the same behavior on the demo site as well. I’m using FF version 41.0.2. Anything else I can do to help troubleshoot?

Have you tried clearing your cache before checking?

Immediately after uploading the new version everything started working as expected for me so am hoping its just a caching issue your side.

    Thanks

    Hi Erin

I’m pretty confident you followed up with another message here – which had a link which I can’t seem to find anymore :/

Anyway, I looked at the issue some more and could recreate it.

I’ve just emailed you another fix – pretty confident this one will do it.

    Thanks

Thanks Ross! When I refresh, it looks like it refreshes the filters which is actually a really smart idea. The results below seem to go back to showing everything and the filter drop downs work! Yes! But, the only thing I’m now noticing is that the drop down selection I made before refreshing, is still showing the selection. It should probably go back to “All”. Am I seeing this correctly? Here’s a page from my site http://education-first.dreamhosters.com/library/

    Hey Erin

I’ve added autocomplete="off" to the forms so now firefox shouldn’t be trying to do anything smart with the search form – although I’m now wondering whether this may break behaviour for some existing users who want autocomplete enabled on their search boxes – perhaps I’ll have to add this to each form element rather than the whole form in the next release.

    Thanks

I have the same issue with Firefox (filters become disabled in after refresh).
Do you have a fix for that ? Where can I add autocomplete="off" to the form ?

    Thank you.

Ross provided me with a modified version of the plugin. Maybe he can give that to you or it will be available in the next release? If not, I can give it to you if you provide an email address.

    Erin
