Filter not working for translated taxonomy

Hi,
i have a products page made vuth custompost and ACF with custom taxnonomy.
Filters on taxonomy are working on default language but not on product page translated with TranslatePress.

Whatever taxonomy is selected, the filter for the first combobox entry is set in the url

I have not had a user with TranslatePress contact us before about any translation issues, but some observations from what I see.

I will compare what I see to what I would see if I were looking at a site using WPML or Polylang. In these two plugins, the option to create a translated version of a form exists. Our plugin needs a translated version of the form to use on the translated page, and in turn, from the language set, knows to fetch translated terms and posts. I cannot see such an option in the search form page, and thus our form will not know which language to search within.
