How can i filter posts by year only – not the whole to/from & having to select a specific day.

At the moment you can only use the date picker.

You could add the year as post meta to your posts, and use a range slider which only steps through the years.

I’m looking at adding more field/input types to the next version of S&F so will look at adding some nice options for the date field too.

I use ACF to create a custom field with year, then ‘post_meta’ and ‘choice’ with ‘checkbox’ in Search Filter.

You must to add each year with ‘auto suggest’, then order. The problem is that the next year I need to go to wp-admin and add new option with year.
