Forums › Forums › Search & Filter Pro › Extra lines in search box format
I’ve just read a previous post on changing the design of the front end Search UI form… and I have a similar question.
I’m using EDD with Vendd as a theme. When I first set up my web site, I used Search & Filter with shortcode in a widget on the right sidebar – it worked, and the formatted search box looked fine.
I upgraded to S&F Pro, and I’m using the shortcode generated in S&F Pro in the same widget. The search still works, but now the formatting looks peculiar. It’s as if there is extra line spacing in the search box.
Is this a theme problem or a S&F Pro problem? Or just my problem because I missed something?
Thanks again
Are you still using the shortcode Display Result method? Did you follow the instructions here (about copying the results.php file to your theme folder):
http://www.designsandcode.com/documentation/search-filter-pro/search-results/using-a-shortcode/
You can then edit that copied file to make the HTML structure as you want.
