Hi Ross,
I just purchased the Pro-Version and like it pretty much.
One function seems to me is missing:
If the frontend-user chooses a specific option in a drop-down-menu in the search form, this choice doesn’t have any influence on the options in other drop-down-menus. I mean: If the criteria from one drop-down-menu are not matched, the options of the next drop-down-menus should be “greyed out” or automatically made invisible. You can see the problem live here.
What you see is: If you choose one of the two options in the SECOND drop-down, ALL of the options in the THIRD drop-down still stay there, even if they don’t match the criteria of the second drop-down. In effect, when choosing some of the options in the THIRD drop-down, the frontend-user gets the message “No results found”
There is another very similar Plugin like yours on the market, that you already know, I guess. This one does solve the problem described above by “greying out” all options in a drop-down, which are not matched by the users choice in another drop-down. You can see the “greying out”-effect for example on this demo-page of the plugin: http://demo2.wordpress-filter.com/category/real-estate-posts/
There, if you choose from an option in one of the drop-downs, this choise DOES INFLUENCE the choosable options on the other dropdowns, so that the frontend-user CAN NOT TICK the non-matched ones.Do you know any workaround for this in your plugin?
Cheers and thx,

2.0 is scheduled for release end of March / early April.
Thanks
Anonymous(Private) March 12, 2015 at 8:33 am #13277Thx for answering that fast. I already guessed that there is no fast workaround cause it’s quite a huge thing to implement. It needs the dropdowns to be included in the Ajax-functionality, am I right?
But no problem, I’ll wait for the next version and have a look.Ross Moderator(Private) March 12, 2015 at 1:24 pm #13302Yup – this feature is one of the most complex to add to the plugin ๐
Ross Moderator(Private) March 16, 2015 at 3:13 pm #13517If I have the time I will be adding this as an option to Search & Filter – so you can choose ๐
Thanks
