Hi, I’ve got two forms running with the shop as the results page and am getting the error ‘Two forms using woocommerce shop’ in admin.
One form, has a few fields in, almost like a teaser form, on the home page, and this leads to the shop page when you put some info in. And the shop page has the second form, (which is the same stuff but has more fields) – positioned in the sidebar for use in filtering the woo shop.
Please could I check what prompts this error re using the shop as a results page in two forms? Because all seems to be working as I’d like at the moment, am I okay to leave it despite the error notice in admin? Or should I be looking for something in particular error wise – because again all seems fine right now?
Thank you 🙂
Trevor(Private) January 3, 2019 at 4:54 pm #197941What you should do is just have the one form (the bigger one) and use custom CSS to hide the unwanted fields on the Home page.
All home pages usually have the body class
home
, so that makes it easy to target the fields on just that page.It is better to do it this way, as at some point in time, the forms will conflict with each other and cause some of the filter options to appear not to work.

For example, the store I’m working on has Search in the header (form 1) and then product category filters in a sidebar (form 2). Both forms are used to load product results of woocommerce products.
