I have looked at the structure of the theme. I have reset the form back to use search.php, as your theme has a custom method for you to use.
The file you need edit/modify is this:
content-search.php (template-parts/content-search.php)
What your theme does is to call the search.php template, and, in turn, if it exists (and it does already for you) that then calls the content-search.php template part. Make a backup copy of that file (content-search.php) before you proceed to edit it, but in it you can clearly and easily see the post layout structure that you need to edit.
